Data-Byte believes that one of the core elements of providing an effective manned security service is the professional performance monitoring of the security personnel themselves. It is of equal importance for the service provider to create a transparent relationship with customers in order to facilitate their ability to have instant access to information relating to patrol activities during their assignments. The Partner Patrol Management System has been designed to ensure a quick, effective and reliable method of managing the patrol activities of security officers. The easy to use software enables management to view single line activity sheet covering all patrol activities in a company or detailed point-by-point analysis of an assignment’s patrol activity.
On the sharp edge of the system is The Partner’s Robust Recorder, which is used by a security officer on his watch tour to touch The Partner Patrol Points, which should be strategically placed throughout the environment being patrolled by the officer. The Partner Robust Recorder is housed in a stainless steel, waterproof and shock-resistant housing with a protective polyurethane sheath to ensure performance in adverse and robust conditions. The Partner Robust Recorder is capable of recording 4000 separate patrol events before requiring download. It is sealed at both ends with rivets and can only be opened by trained technicians. The normal battery life expectancy is at least ten years.
The Partner Patrol Point is an identity microchip using contact technology to time and date stamp The Partner Recorder with a unique and unalterable factory lasered address. The microchip is housed in a stainless steel container and is guaranteed for life against failure in normal use. The points can operate in temperatures between: -40°C to +85°C and most weather conditions. The Partner Patrol Point is fixed to hard surface using epoxy-based glue and mounted by using anti-vandal screws to ensure that no tampering with the patrol point is permitted.
The combination of the two can also be used for other time logging activities, especially in sites where electricity is not available, such as building sites, quarries, agricultural sites, entertainment parks, etc. A specially deigned Supervisor Recorder can then be used to download all the data in seconds from the Robust Recorder to be then imported using The Partner Patrol Management Software.
The Partner Patrol Management Software enables the management to effectively monitor their security team. Our easy to install and operate software provides a myriad of accurate reports on the activities of a security team. Our software provides the management with numerous options to verify security activities. Patrol data can be transferred via e-mail to any location allowing immediate remote verification. The hardware is supported by a Windows-based software solution, which is simply loaded onto one’s computer and is compatible with Windows 98, 2000, NT and Windows XP. This easy-to use software enables easy access to patrol activity reports on a regular basis. All our systems produce quality reports suitable for presentation to clients or attachment to Assignment Instructions. The detailed reports allow appraisal of the route undertaken by the patrol officer and extract numerous criteria about the patrol, such as missed points, intervals between points, etc. In understanding operational pressures on customers, the system has been designed to provide quick snapshot reports, exception reports, or detailed point-by-point analysis. These professional reports can be viewed in standard, Excel and web page format. This flexible system enables individual security officers to be identified and supervisory and management visits to be recorded. The system can be used to record occurrences during patrols.
